Based on this recipe.
Toast whole spices in a dry skillet. Grind and mix.
- 6 whole star anise pods
- 1 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
- 2 teaspoons Szechuan peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons whole fennel seeds
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
